Initially, many raw materials need to be processed before they are mixed in the right ratio.
Not only do we have the necessary facilities to grind and sift solids. Using a specific procedure developed by us, we are also able to reprocess broken tablets. The recycled material obtained in this way can once more be returned to the product life cycle.
Grinding
When it comes to the production of powders, granules, or tablets, the supplied substances may first need to be ground so that, at the next stage, homogenous mixing is ensured. This is one processing step that GECHEM is perfectly equipped for.

Sifting
To arrive at the required grain size, many raw materials must be sifted.
Since the grain size may vary depending on the application, different mesh sizes and multi-stage sifting procedures are used.

Recycling broken tablets
For your tablet production we offer a very special service: The production of tablets leads to rejects that cannot be sold. Instead of disposing of those rejects and wasting precious resources, we offer you the option of making good use of the broken tablets through recycling.
We at GECHEM have developed a procedure with the help of which broken tablets – film-packaged or not – are ground down in such a way that the proportion of recycled substances obtained can once more be returned to the production of tablets.
