To us, value creation means creating values as well as living values. This is why we have made it our mission to produce and bottle chemical-technical products as sustainably as possible. We also believe that sustainability has an economic, a social and an ecological dimension:
Economic sustainability: Flexibility and innovation for maximum customer satisfaction
Our long-term economic success is based on the satisfaction of our German and international customers. To further increase our quality and to surprise our clients with convincing innovations, we are continuously developing our production, bottling, and packaging processes on the basis of an Integrated Management System (IMS).
These days, our customers know for sure that, whatever the challenge involved in the processing, formulating, bottling, or packaging of their products, GECHEM will work together with them to find the best solution.
Social sustainability: Social responsibility for the region
GECHEM’s roots have always lain in the Leiningerland area of the Vorderpfalz region in South West Germany. By keeping the value creation regional, we secure local jobs and take on social responsibility for the people in this region.
As one of the large employers in the Leiningerland area we believe it is our responsibility to offer the locals good career prospects and a secure income. By regularly supporting social organisations we as a company are also deeply committed to the region and the people who live here.
Ecological sustainability: Responsibility for climate and environment
We as a company want to actively contribute to the protection of our environment and our climate. Therefore, we have, over the course of the last few years, invested a great deal of money to be able to produce, bottle and package products as sustainably and safely as possible.
Through the effective use of renewable energies, e.g. with our own MW photovoltaic system including a 250kW storage facility, we help to keep the carbon footprint resulting from the chemical-technical products made by us, as small as possible.
